Coast FM963 is a community radio station that serves the Central Coast region of NSW Australia. The program presenters are all volunteers and while a few have had professional radio experience, the majority of our presenters are new to the game. The station broadcasts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with a variety of music and information programs that reflect the lifestyle of the Central Coast. During the daytime (6am–6pm) Monday to Friday, our listeners tune in for the Easy Mix, a carefully chosen blend of timeless songs from the 60s to the present. The mood is relaxed and friendly and our listeners comment that they have Coast FM on for hours because there’s no song repetition. In the evening and over the weekend Coast FM programs are specialist in nature. From youth night to old radio shows, check our program guide and find a gem to listen to. Like to become involved? Each year Coast FM conducts a training workshop For new volunteer presenters where they develop their broadcasting skills and learn the legal aspects of broadcast media such as industry codes of practice and broadcast regulation.
